Live and Death

This morning, I turned into a church to turn around. I thought they were oddly busy…and say that a funeral procession was preparing to leave.

A few nights ago, we took steps to keep a raccoon out of the business. Last night, we found said raccoons babies. We did what we could to reunite babies and mommy and still not have a raccoon family living in our business.

With slightly different timing or methods or any number of things…baby raccoons are no longer alive. Things are still not clear how they will turn out. But for some reason…this is causing…allowing me to reflect on how tenuous and fragile life is, and that we (humans) can impact it without even realizing – or intending – ill harm.
